Dr. Valeska Wells, D.O., is the Medical Director at Whole Health Center Houston, specializing in functional and integrative medicine with expertise in osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM). Born and raised in Fredericksburg, Texas, she pursued Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University before earning her medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. During medical school, Dr. Wells completed an intensive fellowship in Osteopathic Manual Therapy and obtained certification in Medical Acupuncture. She began her residency in Family Medicine at the Family Health Center in Waco, Texas, and later transferred to the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston to complete her training. At UTMB, she undertook the Integrative Medicine in Residency curriculum through the University of Arizona, receiving the Jean Thompson Award for Most Outstanding and Compassionate Resident and the Nicholson Family Award for Excellence in Integrative Medicine.
