Glia PC+
Plasmalogen-Enriched Egg Yolk Oil
Maximizes Lipid Nutrition and Antioxidant Support for Optimal Brain and Myelin Health
120ml (4 fl. oz.)
Optimized for membrane health, antioxidant protection & brain/cognitive upkeep
ProdromeGLIA-PC+ delivers the perfect combination of naturally occurring egg yolk lipids, phosphatidylcholine, and fat-soluble vitamins enriched with extra CoQ10, Vitamins D3, E, and K2, and ProdromeGLIA™ Omega-9 Plasmalogens for total brain and body membrane support.
Plasmalogens are a special class of phospholipids (lipid molecules) found in cellular membranes. They help maintain membrane flexibility, protect lipids from oxidative damage, and are particularly enriched in neural tissue and cells with high metabolic activity.
Phosphatidylcholine (PC): Key Role
PC is an essential phospholipid that builds cell membranes, supports detoxification, drives methylation, and supplies choline for brain and nerve health. But its effectiveness depends heavily on the source.
-
Rich source of plasmalogens & phosphatidylcholine (PC) from egg yolk (not soy or other seed-based sources)
-
Includes CoQ10 & fat-soluble vitamins (D3, K2, E) for antioxidant and metabolic synergy
-
High bioavailability source vs many seed-derived PC forms
-
Made in USA, GMP-certified, third-party lab-tested

- Essential Cellular Building Block: Crucial for the structure of cellular membranes, supporting overall cell health and communication.
- Supports Brain Health: Low PC levels are linked to various health issues including certain cancers, dementia, and cardiovascular diseases.
- Enhances Brain Function: Improves concentration, memory, and energy, contributing to healthier neurotransmitter levels and better brain, heart, and muscle function.
- High Compatibility: The PC from egg yolks is 100% compatible with human brain, ensuring effective delivery and utilization.
- Nutritional Efficiency: Designed for rapid digestion and absorption to maximize delivery to the brain and muscles, overcoming common dietary limitations.
- Unique Bioavailability: Alkylglycerols in GLIA are the only nutrients capable of restoring or enhancing plasmalogens, crucial for cellular membrane integrity.
- Supports Brain Health: Directly combats conditions associated with low plasmalogen levels like Alzheimer’s, dementia, and more, by supporting myelin sheath development around neurons.
- Enhances Cellular Function: Promotes dense protective coatings for neurons and fluid membranes for high activity cells, improving neural and muscular function.
- Protective: Guards brain, heart, and lung cells against oxidative stress caused by infection, toxicity, or physical injury.
- Restorative: Helps repair cells damaged from oxidative stress, reinforcing neurological signaling and promoting learning.
- High in Omega-9 Fatty Acids (Anti-Inflammatory)
- Low in Omega-6 Fatty Acids (Pro-Inflammatory)
- Contains All the Fat Soluble Vitamins
- Naturally Occurring in Egg Yolk
Seed oil PC contains high levels of PC species with linoleic acid (Omega-6) at the SN-1 position. This type of PC is NOT found in human membranes – especially the brain. And since it is the lyso-PC containing the SN-1 fatty acid that enters the brain, seed oil PC puts extra metabolic demand on the brain to convert it. All of the PC species in egg yolk oil are naturally occurring in the human brain .
Yes. Unlike plant-based PC, Glia PC+ provides lyso-PC, the form that actually crosses the blood-brain barrier. This means it can directly supply your brain with the building blocks it needs for myelin (nerve insulation), neurotransmitters, and cognitive resilience.

Most PC supplements come from soy or sunflower lecithin. Glia PC+ is animal-based, meaning it more closely matches the structure of the PC in human brain and nerve tissue. This gives it superior absorption, better support for neurological repair, and a more powerful role in methylation and detox pathways.
