ProdromeGlia is made using a patented process that combines purified oleic acid with a synthesized plasmalogen precursor backbone to create a stable and bioavailable oil.

What happens in our lab:

• Purifying Oleic Acid: Oleic acid (an omega-9 fatty acid) is extracted from organic high oleic acid sunflower meal. The sunflower oil is broken down to separate the oleic acid from its glycerol backbone. The oleic acid is then washed and purified to remove trace metals, organic contaminants, and microbiological impurities.
• Synthesizing the Plasmalogen Precursor Backbone: Unlike animal-derived sources, the plasmalogen precursor backbone is created from scratch in a pure form.
• Combining the Components: The purified oleic acid is attached to the plasmalogen precursor, forming ProdromeGlia oil.
• Final Purification & Packaging: Before bottling or encapsulation, the oil undergoes further purification to remove oxygen and water molecules, ensuring maximum purity and resistance to oxidation.
