How Do Plasmalogens Work?

Plasmalogens are the matrix of the cell membranes and are the essential phospholipids that play a critical structural and functional role in the brain cell. They help maintain the proper fluidity and curvature of neuronal membranes. Ethanolamine plasmalogens (Prodrome Glia™) help to ensure the correct compaction, insulation, and stability of myelin membranes, while DHA plasmalogens (Prodrome Neuro™) support neurotransmitter release, and modulate the activation of key receptors involved in neuronal survival and plasticity.³ They also reduce inflammatory signaling (e.g., by inhibiting NF-κB pathways), protecting oligodendrocytes and promoting remyelination.⁴

Plasmalogens

Plasmalogens are critical to all cells.

  • Brain

Plasmalogens solidify and amplify the signals between neurons to optimize physical and cognitive performance.
  • Blood

People with high blood plasmalogens were 80% less likely to experience dementia and are proven to live longer.
  • Cell Walls

Plasmalogens are the building blocks of healthy cells, including building and strengthening the myelin sheath in
    neuronal cells.
  • Lungs

Plasmalogens promote and stabilize nonlamellar hexagonal phase structure and have significant antioxidant effects.
  • Heart

Plasmalogens strengthen the heart muscle by reinforcing the cellular structure and function and preventing premature oxidation.
  • Hair & Nails

Plasmalogens in nail beds and hair follicles allow richer & thicker hair and healthier & faster-growing nails.
  • Aging

Antioxidant free radical that acts as the body’s first line of defense against oxidation, disease and aging.
  • Eyes

Plasmalogens are vitally important in the membranes of neuronal tissues that link the brain and the retina. The higher the plasmalogen levels, the lower the risk of glaucoma.

MORE ENERGY!
I started using ProdromeNeuro supplements a few weeks ago, and I have already felt improvements. I have more energy, better focus, and sleep better. I highly recommend this product.

NEAR IMMEDIATE RESULTS!
I noticed I started sleeping better right away. I then noticed I have stopped wheezing when I exert myself. I also noticed less pain in my joints, more flexibility, and less back pain. I am excited to see how much more improvement I will see in my overall wellness once I’ve finished the bottle.

I’m taking ProdromeNeuro and ProdromeGlia, and I didn’t have any major issues, but now I notice my balance is way better. I stand on one foot, and I read faster and I notice my memory is a bit better..

I am an Apollo Health Coach, and I was recently made aware of Dr. Goodenowe's conversation with Dr. Dale Bredesen, from a few years ago. Somehow I missed it - but when I listened, I was fascinated, intrigued and blown away. I've listened to it about 5 times now, and it has started to "hand together". My undergrad is in Bio/chem and I was a drug rep for 5 years AND, my heart beats for science, so I'm kind of a research nerd anyway.

So here's the deal: I started Greg on Prodrome Glia and Neuro about 2 weeks before we submitted his blood work. About a week after that, he awoke one morning with no shocks and spasms! This does not happen regularly yet, but I hope and expect that it will. And when this issue resolves, I'll for sure let you know!

UPDATE ON GREG:  For the last 14 months... Read More
